Biblical Principle #9 – Thankfulness
“In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
—1 Thessalonians 5:18
We all love Thanksgiving. Food, family, and football! It simply can’t be beat. We pray and we set aside this special day to “give thanks” for all the blessings we have in our life. But what about the other 364 days? Are we living lives of thankfulness then? Gratitude and thankfulness are attitudes that will carry you through life’s storms and enhance the joy and success you celebrate. We have so much to be grateful for and our prayer is that this session will bring to life the attitude of gratitude.
“Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.”
