Biblical Principle #6 – Fellowship
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
The Christian life was never meant to be done alone. Physically, mentally and spiritually we were created to be with others. The importance of Biblical fellowship is literally lifesaving. There is much joy in living the Christian life. We all can share our joys, our ups and downs, our successes and struggles. We were meant to be together. But we must set aside the time to focus our efforts on our relationships and build them so we may lean on each other and be encouraging. That is needed so much today. Others will see the joy and love of Christ through our fellowship with them.
The very God who created the earth, His Spirit resides in us. And that Spirit was meant to be shared with others.
“There is nothing in this world that can compare with the Christian fellowship; nothing that can satisfy but Christ.”
—John D. Rockefeller
