Biblical Principle #3 – Confession and Repentance
Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
Confession is good for the soul. How often have we heard that statement? But in the context of one’s walk with Jesus, how do these qualities of confession and repentance play into a life that bears much fruit? Of all the qualities we will discuss in this series, this is perhaps the one where you will encounter the greatest degree of challenge from our enemy. However, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the precious blood of Christ, confession and repentance becomes a powerful weapon in our arsenal to truly feel the joy of Christ. We disarm the enemy through honest appraisal of ourselves.
“God removes the sin of the one who makes humble confession, and thereby the devil loses the sovereignty he had gained over the human heart.”
